Taiwan's Directorate-General of Personnel Administration has confirmed that, in compensation for the upcoming extended 2013 Chinese New Year public holidays, Saturday, February 23, 2013, would be a regular working day in Taiwan.
The aforementioned statement is in line with the official list of Taiwanese 2013 non-working public holidays which was released in draft form last summer (2012-08-18) before being officialized, last fall (2012-11-26).
