The UAE Federal Government, through its respective ministries, has announced the dates of the upcoming 2013 Eid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays, as usual in separate announcements for the public sector and the private sector of the UAE.
The UAE's Minister of Education, Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, has announced that the upcoming Eid Al Adha public holidays in ministries and federal institutions will run from Friday, October 11, 2013, until Saturday, October 19, 2013, inclusively.
In a separate announcement, Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, the UAE's Minister of Labour, officially announced that all business establishments in the private sector would observe non-working public holidays from run from Monday, October 14, 2013, until Wednesday, October 16, 2013, inclusively.
The aforementioned announcements follow last weekend's announcement (2013-10-06) that the UAE Government would observe the upcoming Eid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, itself following on an earlier announcement (2013-10-06) by the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that the date of the Eid Al Adha in Saudi Arabia would be Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
