Ukraine Capital Public Holiday March 25

The city state administration of Kyiv, the Ukraine's capital, has announced that due to current snow conditions, Monday, March 25, 2013, had been declared a non-working public holiday in Kiev and the Kiev region (Kyiv and the Kyiv Oblast) for public sector employees.

Althought the aforementioned announcement was officially limited to the public sector, the Kyiv city state administration communique goes on to urge the private sector to also declare Monday, March 25, 2013, as a non-working public holiday in Kiev and the Kiev region(Private entrepreneurs are also recommended to declare March 25 a holiday in the institutions of private ownership).
