Zambian December Public Holidays Canceled

Zambia's Secretary to the Cabinet, Roland Msiska, has announced that he was withdrawing his announcement of yesterday, that Zambian President, Michael Sata, had declared Tuesday, December 24, and Tuesday, December 31, 2013 as one-off public holidays throughout Zambia.

Secretary Msiska was referring to his announcement of yesterday (19-Dec-2013), that President, Michael Sata, had declared Tuesday, December 24, and Tuesday, December 31, 2013 as one-off public holidays throughout Zambia, as these days preceded the upcoming Christmas public holiday and the New Year public holiday in Zambia.
