Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a circular declaring Thursday, May 1st, 2014, to mark the upcoming annual International Labour Day Holiday 2014 public holiday in Bahrain.
As was the case last year (2013-01-21), but contrary to what happened the previous year (2012-02-01), for the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed for the Islamic year 1433, there was no need in 2014 for an additional, day in lieu, public holiday to be observed by government ministries, authorities and institutions.
