Contrary to earlier announcements, Bolivia's President, Evo Morales, has issued a decree declaring Friday and Saturday, June 13 and 14, 2014, as one-off non-working public holidays in the Santa Cruz Province of Bolivia, on account of the upcoming G77+China Summit.

Last week (06-Jun-2014), Bolivia's Ministry of Labour, in conjunction with the Bolivian Ministry of Culture, had issued a statement ruling-out the declaration of Friday, June 13, 2014, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Bolivia, on account of the upcoming G77+China Summit, although serious thought had been given to the declaration of Friday, June 13, 2014, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Bolivia ("Se había considerado una declaratoria de feriado").
