Gabon's Ministre du Travail, de l'Emploi et de la Prévoyance Sociale has announced that the upcoming annual National Day non-working public holidays in Gabon would be extended by a day with the declaration of Monday, August 18, 2014, as an additional non-working public holiday in the Gabon.
As tomorrow, Friday, August 15, 2014, is already an annual non-working public holiday, this means that Gabon will be on public holidays from Friday, August 15, to Monday, August 18, 2014, inclusively.
As was the case, four years ago (2010-08-10), under similar circumstances, the additional one-off public holiday on August 18, 2010, will be counted against workers' vacation time (la journée est déclarée chômée et récupérable).
