The Government of Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration has issued a communiqué ruling-out the possibility that it would declare Friday, January 2, 2015, as another one-off non-working public holiday in Indonesia.

The aforementioned communiqué is in line with last spring's (07-May-2014) release by the government of Indonesia of its annual decree (Surat Keputusan Bersama (SKB) Hari Libur Nasional dan Cuti Bersama Tahun 2015) designating public holidays and collective leave days ("cuti bersama") for the calendar year 2015, for both the private and public sectors, later amended (24-Oct-2014).
