The government of Kazakhstan has announced that Monday, December 15, 2014, would not be declared as a bridge non-working public holiday in Kazakhstan to link the annual December 16-17 public holidays of Kazakhstan to the previous weekend.

Last spring (2014-05-23), Kazakhstan's Prime Minister, Karim Massimov, had announced that he would consider announcing one-off non-working public holidays earlier, possibly even soon for the remainder of 2014.
