Libya's ruling National Transitional Council has announced that, once again, as per Law No.5 of 2012, Thursday, May 1st, 2014, would be a non-working public holiday throughout Libya.
Two years ago (2012-04-29), Libya's ruling National Transitional Council had declared that Tuesday, May 1st, 2012, would be a non-working public holiday throughout Libya "for the first time ever". This declaration of May 1st as a non-working public holiday in Libya was repeated last year (2013-04-28).
These aforementioned announcements are in line with the Libyan National Transitional Council overhaul of the official list of national non-working public holidays in Libya, announced that same year (2012-01-08).
