The Parliament of Mongolia has approved amendments to the Law on Celebrating Public Festivals and Memorable Days which add July 14 and 15 as additional annual non-working public holidays in Mongolia.

Three years ago (2011-06-30), the Cabinet of the Government of Mongolia had approved the declaration of Thursday and Friday, July 14 and 15, 2011, as one-off non-working public holidays in Mongolia, to link the Naadam annual public holidays with the subsequent weekend. The declaration of Thursday and Friday, July 14 and 15, 2011, as one-off non-working public holidays in Mongolia, were then compensated by Saturday and Sunday, July 9 and 10, 2011, being declared as regular working days in Mongolia.
