The government of Nepal has announced that Monday, August 11, 2014, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Nepal in the Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts on account of the upcoming annual Gai Jatra festival.
The aforementioned announcement that Monday, August 11, 2014, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in the Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts on account of the upcoming Gai Jatra festival, is in line with last spring's (2014-03-02) gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2071 (mid-April 2014 to mid-April 2015).
