The aforementioned announcement that Monday, August 11, 2014, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in the Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts on account of the upcoming Gai Jatra festival, is in line with last spring's (2014-03-02) gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2071 (mid-April 2014 to mid-April 2015).
