The government of Nepal has announced that Sunday, June 22, 2014, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Nepal in the Kathmandu, Chitwan, Bardiya and Kailali districts on account of the upcoming Constituent Assembly by-elections.
The aforementioned announcement of Sunday, June 22, 2014, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Nepal on account of the upcoming Constituent Assembly by-elections, is in addition to the recent (2014-03-02) gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2071 (mid-April 2014 to mid-April 2015).
Nepal regularly declares one-off public holidays for Constituent Assembly elections (2013-11-11 and 2008-05-23).
