Nicaragua 2014-2015 Year-End Public Holidays

Nicaragua's Ministry of Labour has announced that MITRAB (Ministerio del Trabajo) had once again declared extended public sector non-working public holidays centered around the Nicaraguan public holidays for Christmas 2014 and New Year's Day 2015.

This announcement, based on Article 76 of Nicaragua's Labor Code, which extends the public sector holidays in Nicaragua from December 24, until January 1st, has become expected annually (2013-12-20, 2012-12-13, 2011-12-17, 2010-12-04, 2009-12-07, 2008-12-05, 2007-12-03, 2006-12-14, 2004-12-01, and 2001-12-05).
