The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abba Moro, has announced that the Nigerian Federal Government had declared Thursday, May 29, 2014, as a non-working public holiday in Nigeria.

As usual (2013-05-24, 2012-04-27, and 2011-05-24), the aforementioned declaration of Thursday, May 29, 2014, as a non-working public holiday in Nigeria corresponds to the upcoming annual public holiday for Democracy Day.
