Nigerian Public Holiday October 1st

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Magaji A.G., has announced that the Nigerian Government, via its Minister of the Interior, Abba Moro, had declared Wednesday, October 1st, 2014, as a non-working public holiday throughout Nigeria on account of Nigeria's upcoming 54th annual independence anniversary.

The aforementioned declaration of Wednesday, October 1st, 2014, as a non-working public holiday throughout Nigeria is in line with similar announcements over the past years (24-Sep-2013, 28-Sep-2012, 26-Sep-2011 and 23-Sep-2010).
