The State Governments of the Nigerian States of Oyo, Osun, and Lagos have once again declared Thursday, June 12, 2014, as a one-off non-working public holiday in the Nigerian states of Oyo, Osun, and Lagos.
As was the case in past years (2013-06-09, 2012-06-09, 2011-06-10 and 2010-06-11), the declaration of Thursday, June 12, 2014, as a one-off non-working public holiday is in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the June 12, 1993, elections.
