Panama's President, Ricardo Martinelli, has issued a decree based on the Ley 70 del 2007 que modificó el artículo 47 del Código de Trabajo, which announces that the upcoming annual, November 28, non-working public holiday in Panama will, once again, be moved, this time to Monday, December 1st, 2014.

As per the aforementioned decree, the upcoming "Independencia de Panamá de España" annual non-working public holiday will be moved from Friday, November 28, 2014, to Monday, December 1, 2014, as could have been expected (2013-10-15 and 2007-12-30) and as was done in past years (2013-11-07, 2012-10-30 and 2011-12-06).
