Peru's Ministra de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Nancy Laos Cáceres, has announced that contrary to last-minute rumours to the contrary, Monday, January 27, 2014, would not be declared as a one-off non-working public holiday in Peru.
The rumor had circulated that Monday, January 27, 2014, would be declared as a one-off non-working public holiday in Peru, to enable the population to hear the verdict of the ICJ concerning a dispute about maritime boundaries with Chile.
