Transdniestria's government has declared Wednesday, December 31, 2014, as another one-off non-working public sector holiday throughout Transdniestria.
As per the aforementioned announcement, the declaration of Wednesday, December 31, 2014, as a one-off non-working public holiday throughout Transdniestria was made for the public sector only ("for public employees who are financed from the budget of the region").
Recall that, since 2007, January 2 is also an annual non-working public holiday throughout Transdniestria (2006-12-28), for both the private and public sectors, as is January 1st.
