The Antigua and Barbuda government has declared day one of the first Test between West Indies and England, Monday, April 13, 2015, as a one-off non-working half-day public holiday in Antigua and Barbuda.

Almost a decade ago (2007-03-23), the Antigua and Barbuda government had declared March 27, 2007, as a one-off public holiday to mark the country's hosting of its first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup.

This time, however, the aforementioned one-off non-working half-day public holiday in Antigua and Barbuda on day one of the first Test between West Indies and England, Monday, April 13, 2015, will be only in the afternoon, but will cover both the private and public sectors.
