Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a circular declaring Wednesday and Thursday, December 16 an 17, 2015, as non-working public holidays in Bahrain to mark the upcoming annual National Day and the 16th Anniversary of the accession to the throne of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Contrary to some previous years (2011-12-13 and 2010-12-12), but in line with th past 2 years (2014-12-13 and 2013-12-12), as the aforementioned dates do not coincide with the Fridays and Saturdays weekly days of rest in Bahrain (2006-08-02), there is no need to declare a compensatory non-working public holiday for the Bahraini governmental ministries, directorates and institutions.
