Bangladesh's Religious Affairs Minister, and Chairman of the National Moon Sighting Committee, Matiur Rahman, has announced that Bangladesh's National Moon Sighting Committee had determined that the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha (Feast of Sacrifice), annual non-working public holiday would be observed on Friday, September 25, 2015, in Bangladesh, as the Moon for the month of Zil Hajj was not sighted last night.
The aforementioned announcement is in line with the official non-working public holidays in Bangladesh for 2015 (DFIM Circular Letter No. 10 : Regarding Holidays of 2015: Notice No: 05.00.0000.173.08.005.12-246) as announced last fall (2014-11-03), by the Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
