Bangladesh 2016 Public Holidays Approved

Bangladesh's Cabinet Secretary, Mohammad Shafiul Alam, has announced that, at today's regular Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, last month's draft version of the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Bangladesh for the upcoming calendar year 2016, had been approved as the official list of non-working 2016 public holidays in Bangladesh.

Early last month (2015-10-02), the aforementioned draft calendar of the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Bangladesh for the upcoming calendar year 2016, had been finalized by Bangladesh's Public Administration Ministry, and was sent to the Prime Ministers' Office (PMO), to be placed before the cabinet.

After today's cabinet approval, the public administration ministry will issue a gazetted list of the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Bangladesh for the upcoming calendar year 2016, as per custom (2014-11-03, 2013-11-15, 2012-11-30,...).
