Brazil 2015 Public Holidays Announced

The Federal Government of Brazil, through its Ministério do Planejamento, Orçamento e Gestão, has released its annual list of the official Brazilian non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2015.

This announced list confirms the dates of the Easter-related public holidays without, this year (2014-01-06 and 2013-01-04) a surprise observance for Good Friday.

The Dia do Servidor Público (Civil Servants' Day) will be moved again in 2015, as happened in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2014 (2007-12-28, 2008-11-12, 2009-11-10, 2011-12-27 and 2014-01-06), but contrary to what is sometimes the case (2013-01-04 and 2010-12-03).
