Egyptian Hijri 1437 Public Holiday Announced

A cabinet spokesman for the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration has announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14, 2015, would be a non-working official public holiday for both the public sector and the private sector on account of the upcoming Hijri 1437 Islamic New Year.

As usual (2014-10-24), the aforementioned announcement that Wednesday, October 14, 2015, would be a non-working official public holiday for both the public sector and the private sector on account of the upcoming Hijri 1437 Islamic New Year, was made following Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta announcing, earlier tonight, that Wednesday would mark the Hijiri new year 1437.
