The Eritrean government has announced its list of annual official national and religious non-working public holidays in Eritrea for the calendar year 2015.
In most past years (2013-03-23 and 2012-01-03), but not all (2014-01-03), the announced dates of Muslim public holidays in Eritrea followed, or even preceded, those calculated by the Umm al-Qura calendar used by Saudi Arabia, and were often later changed at the last-minute (2010-09-08 and 2009-09-18). This is not the case for the aforementioned list of annual official national and religious non-working public holidays in Eritrea for the calendar year 2015.
However, the Ministry of Information of the State of Eritrea does seem to have made an error in calculating the leap year of the Coptic/Geez calendar, as both the Keddus Johannes (Geez New Year) and the Meskel (Discovery of the True Cross) Eritrean public holidays dates for 2015 are a day early.
