The Bank of Greece, Greece's Central Bank, has released its annual list of official Greek bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Greece for the calendar year 2016.
This year's announcement specifically states that "It should be noted that 1 May 2016 coincides with Easter Sunday. In the event that, by ministerial decision, the 1st of May is declared an official public holiday and is moved to another date, the Bank of Greece will observe such holiday accordingly.".
