India 2015 Tamil Nadu Public Holidays Amended Again

The Government of India's state of Tamil Nadu has announced that it had once again amended its previously-released annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Tamil Nadu for the calendar year 2015, by moving the date of the upcoming Milad-un-Nabi (the Prophet's Birthday) non-working public holiday from Wednesday, December 23, to Thursday, December 24, 2015.

As per the aforementioned announcement ("Public (Miscellaneous) Department G.O.Ms.No.1351, Dated:18.12.2015"), the change of the upcoming Milad-un-Nabi (the Prophet's Birthday) non-working public holiday from the previously-announced (2014-11-24) date of Wednesday, December 23, to Thursday, December 24, 2015, was made at the request of chief Kazi to the Tamil Nadu state government, as was the case in the past (2015-10-19, 2014-10-01 and 2013-11-12).
