The government of Kazakhstan has released its annual official list of non-working public holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the calendar year 2015.
The aforementioned announcement of the official list of non-working public holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the calendar year 2015 does not, this time, confirm the days in lieu public holidays that will be declared in 2015 to compensate the 2015 Kazakhstan public holidays that fall on a weekend.
In line with most previous years (2013-12-26, 2013-02-18 and 2011-01-14), but not all (2012-02-17), the announced list of non-working public holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the calendar year 2015 does specify the date of the Kurban-Eid (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday, however the announced date is incorrect (it is the date for 2014).
The cancellation of the October 25 public holiday, officialized 6 years ago (2009-04-25 and 2009-03-04) is re-confirmed, and the new, May 7, Homeland Defender Day, annual non-working public holiday in Kazakhstan (2012-10-19) is also confirmed, without, for the moment, a bridge public holiday to link this May 7 public holiday with the annual May 9 public holiday.
