The Chief Minister of the government of Malaysia's State of Kelantan, Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob, has declared Sunday, May 24, 2015, as another one-off state public holiday in Malaysia's State of Kelantan in conjunction with the upcoming Kelantan meeting with Lions XII in the FA Cup final in Kuala Lumpur.

As per the aforementioned announcement, Sunday, May 24, 2015, was declared as another one-off state public holiday in Malaysia's State of Kelantan "to allow Kelantan's football supporters to return in comfort after watching the FA Cup final match at National Stadium, Bukit Jalil on May 23".

One-off state public holidays in Malaysia are often declared for football and sports-related events (2014-11-02, 2013-11-01, 2013-10-30, 2013-06-13, 2012-10-15, 2012-07-18, 2012-05-14, 2011-11-21, 2011-06-13, 2011-06-11, 2010-12-30, 2010-12-29, 2010-10-30, 2009-11-04,...).

Note that Fridays are part of the weekend, and Sundays are regular working days, in Kelantan as well as the Malaysian states of Kedah, Terengganu, and, most recently, Johor (2013-11-23).
