The Association of Banks in Lebanon has announced that it had also decided to change the date of the upcoming annual Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) bank holiday in Lebanon, would be observed on Thursday, September 24, 2015, instead of the previously-announced date of Wednesday, September 23, 2015.

The aforementioned communique by the Association of Banks in Lebanon that the date of the upcoming annual Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) bank holiday in Lebanon, would be observed on Thursday, September 24, 2015, instead of the previously-announced date of Wednesday, September 23, 2015, follows an earlier announcement (16-Sep-2015), by the Prime Minister of the Government of Lebanon, declaring Thursday, September 24, 2015, as a non-working public holiday for both the private and public sectors for the upcoming annual non-working public holiday to mark the Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) in Lebanon, but most likely due to Sunday night's surprise announcement of a change in the date of the upcoming Eid al Adha by Saudi Arabia (14-Sep-2015).
