Macedonian Public Holidays October 11-12

Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced that Sunday, October 11, 2015, had been declared a non-working public holiday for all the citizens of Macedonia on account of the upcoming Day of Popular Uprising annual non-working public holiday in Macedonia.

The announcement goes on to state that, as per the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia, as October 11 is a Sunday, in 2015, Monday, October 12, 2015, will be a day in lieu non-working public holiday in Macedonia.

The above are in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2015 public holidays in Macedonia, as published early this year (2015-01-05), and, more generally with the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette, and Br.21/98 7.18) as last amended in 2007 (2007-02-08).
