The Head of the Malaysian State of Johor Royal Council, Datuk Abdul Rahim Ramli, has urged the Johor private sector to observe the previously-announced March 23 one-off non-working public holiday in the Malaysian State of Johor.

Earlier this year (06-Jan-2015), the State Secretary of Malaysia's State of Johor had declared that Monday, March 23, 2015, would be a one-off non-working public holiday in Malaysia's State of Johor on account of the coronation of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar as the state's fifth Sultan in the history of modern Johor.

That declaration of Monday, March 23, 2015, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Malaysia's State of Johor on account of the coronation of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, was to be in addition to the previously-announced (11-Aug-2014) list of official national and state non-working public holidays in Malaysia for the calendar year 2015.
