Papua New Guinea Public Holiday July 13

The Acting Chief Secretary to Government of Papua New Guinea, John Kali, has announced that the government of Papua New Guinea had declared Monday, July 13, 2015, as a non-working public holiday in Papua New Guinea “in recognition of the Pacific Games”.

As per the aforementioned announcement, the National Executive Council has declared Monday, July 13, “to be a public holiday throughout the National Capital District for the purpose of the events of the Pacific Games”.

The aforementioned declaration of Monday, July 13, 2015, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Papua New Guinea, is in addition to the previously announced (18-Aug-2014), then amended (01-Jun-2015), list of non-working public holidays in Papua New Guinea for the calendar year 2015.
