Following the recent gazetting of the "Holidays and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2015", the Department of Justice and Attorney-General of Australia's State of Queensland has announced a revised list of the dates of the annual non-working public holidays for 2016 in Australia's State of Queensland.
The aforementioned "Holidays and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2015" (2015-10-14, 2015-06-23, 2015-05-22, 2015-03-17, 2015-03-13 and 2015-02-15), thus amends the earlier released list of 2016 non-working public holidays in Australia's states of Queensland (2013-11-20), and switches the dates of the Birthday of the Sovereign and of the Labour Day annual non-working public holidays in the Australian state of Queensland, partially reversing the previous government's reversal (2012-08-20 and 2012-06-12) of the move of the Queen's Birthday public holiday to the month of October (2011-12-03, 2011-11-08, and 2011-11-05).
