The legislative assembly of Spain's autonomous region of Ceuta (Ilustre Pleno de !a Asamblea de Ceuta) has approved the annual official list of 2016 non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta.
As per the aforementioned "Resolución de la Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta, por el que se aprueba el calendario laboral para el año 2016.", the 2016 Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday, will be observed on September 12, 2016, in Spain's region of Ceuta, as was recently announced also for the autonomous region of Mellila (2015-09-17).
Interestingly, the announced annual official list of 2016 non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta for 2016, contains for the first time, a non-working public holiday on September 2, for the Día de Ceuta.
Contrary to what happened 2 years ago (2013-10-08), the September 12, 2016, date for next year's Pascua del Sacrificio seems correct. It seems that the last-minute changes of past years (2012-10-24, 2012-10-19 and 2012-10-01) is a thing of the past.
