Tonga's Prime Minister's Office has issued a communiqué ("Public service holidays start Dec 22") announcing that the Cabinet of the Government of Tonga had once again declared a 2-week period of additional public sector holidays in Tonga, from Tuesday, December 22, 2015, until Sunday, January 3, 2016, inclusively.
The aforementioned 2-week period of additional public sector holidays in Tonga, from Tuesday, December 22, 2015, until Sunday, January 3, 2016, inclusively ("Tongan Government's public services will close down at 4:30pm on Monday, 21 December... Government starts the new working year at 8:30am on Monday, 4 January"), are in addition to the list of 2015 non-working public holidays in Tonga which were previously announced (2014-12-20).
A similar 2-week period of non-working public sector holidays was declared for the past 2 years (2014-12-21 and 2013-11-22).
