Tonga's Ministry of Information and Communications has issued a communiqué ruling-out the declaration of Monday, April 27, 2015, as a day in lieu non-working public holiday in Tonga due to the annual, April 25, ANZAC Day non-working public holiday of Tonga falling on a Saturday in 2015.

As per the aforementioned announcement, "In view of the number of enquiries received regarding the day of observance of ANZAC Day this year, this public holiday will be observed on the actual day, which is Saturday 25 April 2015" and goes on to recall the terms of the "Public Holidays (Amendment) Act 2010" (Act No. 10 of 2010) which amended the public holidays legislation of Tonga (19-May-2010 and 08-Apr-2010).
