The State Government of Australia's State of New South Wales has released its annually expanded list of official non-working public holidays in Australia's State of New South Wales (NSW) for the calendar year 2018.
Once again (2014-12-13, 2014-02-07, 2013-03-05, 2012-06-01 and 2011-08-16), the aforementioned list of official NSW public holidays for the calendar year 2018 is in line with the "Public Holidays Bill 2010" (2010-11-13), which took effect as of 2012, following the recommendations of the independent inquiry that was conducted by Professor Joellen Riley, at the request of the then NSW government (2009-05-31 and 2009-08-18).
