Bahamas 2017 Public Holidays Announced

The Government of the Bahamas has released its annual official list of the non-working public holidays in the Bahamas, for the calendar year 2017.

It also lists the, recently declared (2014-01-03, 2013-10-11, 2013-05-06, 2013-05-02 and 2013-01-09), Majority Rule Day new annual public holiday in the Bahamas, in line with the recent announcement by the Government of the Bahamas that "the forthcoming public holiday commemorating this event will be observed on the actual anniversary date, viz Tuesday, 10th January, 2017" (2016-12-20).
