Bhutanese Public Holiday December 17

The Royal Civil Service Commission of the Government of Bhutan has announced that Saturday, December 17, 2016, would be a non-working public holiday throughout Bhutan on the occasion of the upcoming annual National Day Bhutanese non-working public holiday, marking the anniversary of the coronation of the First King of Bhutan, Druk Gyalpo Ugyen Wangchuck, on December 17, 1907.

The aforementioned declaration of Saturday, December 17, 2016, would be a non-working public holiday throughout Bhutan on the occasion of the upcoming annual National Day Bhutanese non-working public holiday, is in line with the official list of national and regional non-working public holidays in Bhutan for the calendar year 2016, released last fall (2015-10-01) by the Royal Civil Service Commission of the Government of Bhutan.
