Due to numerous local calendars showing the 2016 Thruebab (Blessed Rainy Day) annual non-working public holiday of Bhutan on the wrong date, the Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs of the Government of Bhutan has confirmed that the date of the upcoming Thruebab (Blessed Rainy Day) annual non-working public holiday of Bhutan will be on the 22nd Day of the 7th Month of Fire Male Monkey Year of the Bhutanese Calendar.

The aforementioned announcement that the date of the upcoming Thruebab (Blessed Rainy Day) annual non-working public holiday of Bhutan is the 22nd Day of the 7th Month of Fire Male Monkey Year of the Bhutanese Calendar, corresponds to the date of Friday, June 23, 2016, as a non-working public holiday throughout Bhutan, in contrast with the date of Thursday, September 22, 2016, included in the official list of national and regional non-working public holidays in Bhutan for the calendar year 2016, released last fall (01-Oct-2015) by the Royal Civil Service Commission of the Government of Bhutan.
