The head of Bolivia's Ministerio de Trabajo, Empleo y Previsión Social, Elizabeth Molina, has announced the declaration of 2015-2016 year-end non-working public holidays in Bolivia, taking into account the fact that both December 25 and January 1, fall on a Sunday.
As per the aforementioned announcement by Minister Molina, as per the recent Decreto supremo 2750 del 1 de mayo de 2016 (03-May-2016), both the Bolivian public sector and the Bolivian private sector will benefit from a day in lieu non-working public holiday in Bolivia on Monday, December 26, 2016, and on Monday, January 2, 2017 ("se considera feriado con suspensión de actividades públicas y privadas los días lunes posteriores a los feriados que correspondan a días domingo").
