The government of Guyana has announced its annual list of Guyanese bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Guyana for the upcoming calendar year 2017.

As usual, but as was the case last year (2015-11-22), much earlier than in past years (2014-01-14 and 2013-01-07), though not all (2014-11-07), the aforementioned list of non-working public holidays in Guyana for the calendar year 2017, specifies that the announced observance dates Youman Nabi (the Prophet's Birthday) and Eid-ul-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) annual non-working public holidays of Guyana, are "tentative dates".
