The Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan has issued the Memorandum 23/2016, Ref.10/2/8693, which announces bank holidays in Jordan from July 5 to 8, 2016, on account of the annual Eid al-Fitr non-working bank holidays and public holidays in Jordan.
In a separate, and probably preceding, announcement, Jordan's Prime Minister, Abdullah Ensour, had also announced that this year's annual Eid al-Fitr non-working public holidays in Jordan would be observed from July 5 to 8, 2016.
The aforementioned announcement of a bank holiday on Friday, July 5, 2016, on account of the annual Eid al-Fitr non-working public holidays in Jordan, is in line with the previously-released (2015-10-22), list of annual non-working bank holidays and public holidays in Jordan for the calendar year 2016.
