The Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan has issued the Memorandum 29/2016, Ref.10/2/1758, which announces bank holidays in Jordan from September 11 to September 15, 2016, on account of the annual Eid al-Adha non-working bank holidays and public holidays in Jordan.

In a separate Memorandum 30/2016, Ref.10/2/1849, the Central Bank of Jordan also declares Tuesday, September 20, 2016, as a one-off bank holiday in Jordan, on account of the Parliamentary elections being held on that date, as had been declared a one-off public holiday by the Government of Jordan, earlier this summer (20-Jul-2016), in addition to the previously-released (22-Oct-2015), list of annual non-working bank holidays and public holidays in Jordan for the calendar year 2016.
