Macedonian Public Holiday April 29

Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced that Friday, April 29, 2016, would be a non-working public holiday for citizens of the Orthodox faith in Macedonia on account of the upcoming "Good Friday, Friday before Easter" annual sectorial non-working public holiday.

The above announcement that Friday, April 29, 2016, had been declared a non-working public holiday for citizens of the Orthodox faith in Macedonia on account of "Good Friday", is in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2016 public holidays in Macedonia, as published late last year (2015-10-27), and, more generally with the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette, and Br.21/98 7.18) as last amended in 2007 (2007-02-08).
