Malawi's Government has announced the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Malawi for the upcoming calendar year 2017.
Once again (2015-12-03 and 2014-11-29), the aforementioned announcement of the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Malawi for the upcoming calendar year 2017, comprises the restored (2012-12-18) December 26 (Boxing Day) public holiday, removed almost a decade ago (2007-10-01) from the official list of Malawi public holidays, as well as the Kamuzu Day public holiday, observed annually on May 14th, in honor of Malawi's first president Hastings Kamuzu Banda (2008-04-10).
