The Home Minister of the government of Nepal has announced that Friday, January 15, 2016, had been declared a nationwide non-working public holiday on account of the upcoming Maghi or Maghe Sankranti annual non-working public holiday of Nepal.
The aforementioned annual Maghi or Maghe Sankranti annual non-working public holiday of Nepal (2015-01-14) and today's announcement is in line with last spring's (2015-03-03) gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2072 (April 2015-April 2016).
